The new version of MAC OS X, 10.10 (Yosemite) is expected to be released today, Thursday October 16th, and is currently incompatible with the ClearPass registration system and potentially other services at Rowan.

Information Resources & Technology will be deploying new network management devices and adding a second internet service provider (ISP) to the Rowan University network this weekend as part of our ongoing network redesign project.

A three-hour outage is planned on Saturday, Nov. 18, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m., as we deploy and validate the new network management devices.

We may also need to perform additional maintenance on Saturday and Sunday that may affect connectivity.

We will be closely monitoring the network to identify and respond to any potential issues. An after-hours hotline will open at 2 p.m. on Saturday to help us quickly address any network-related support requests due to this effort.

The number for that hotline is 856-256-6466. Please leave a message when prompted to do so, and a member of our team will return your call as soon as possible. The hotline will remain open throughout the weekend.
