Information Resources & Technology will be integrating new firewalls into the University’s network this weekend.

This work will cause a network outage on Saturday, Dec. 2, between 2 p.m. and 4 p.m.

During that two-hour window, all services on the Rowan University network will be intermittently unavailable. Those services include internet access, wired and wireless networks on campus, telephone service, email, Google Apps, Citrix, EMR, Blackboard and any access from off-campus to any Rowan services, including the Rowan University website.

We may also need to perform additional work on the firewalls on Saturday and Sunday that may affect connectivity.

Our after-hours network redesign hotline will open at 2 p.m. on Saturday to help us quickly address any network-related support requests due to this effort.

The number for that hotline is 856-256-6466. Please leave a message when prompted to do so, and a member of our team will return your call as soon as possible. The hotline will remain open throughout the weekend.

If you need to reach our support team Monday through Thursday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. or Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., please call 856-256-4400 or email support@rowan.edu.
