Information Resources & Technology has implemented a new campus computer registration system called ClearPass. The system ensures that all computers trying to connect to the University's network meet minimum security requirements before they are granted access.
The following instructions will help you connect your Linux computer to the Rowan network.
If you do not know your Rowan Network username and password go to: http://id.rowan.edu.

Wired 802.1x Settings
NOTE: When registering, only the network interface touching ClearPass is recorded. Linux machines do not download a scanning client and cannot present inactive interfaces.
Registering while on wireless will not register your wired MAC address , and registering on a wired connection will not register your wireless MAC address. In addition, if you do not use a network interface for more than two weeks it will become unregistered.
