The new version of MAC OS X, 10.10 (Yosemite) is expected to be released today, Thursday October 16th, and is currently incompatible with the ClearPass registration system and potentially other services at Rowan.

The ServiceNow project team would like to extend our thanks to all of you who participated in training for ServiceNow Change Management this week.

As noted during the training sessions and in previous announcements, we are scheduled to go-live with Change this coming Monday, April 3rd.  This will be the first module to go-live within the ServiceNow platform for Rowan University.

What does this mean for you?

If you have not participated in Change Management in the past - including submitting changes, performing the duties of a Change Manager, or attending CAB meetings - this transition will not directly affect you.

If you do participate in Change Management as part of your job duties:

  • Beginning this Monday, you will submit new changes in the production ServiceNow platform.  The production instance is available at
  • Any change requests that are presently open or that are submitted within ServiceDesk prior to April 3rd will be completed within ServiceDesk.
  • The CAB Coordinator will be migrating all existing standard changes to ServiceNow next week.  Once this is complete, all updates to these standard changes will take place within ServiceNow.  Until this is announced at CAB, all standard changes will continue to be updated within ServiceDesk.
  • Pending completion of all open changes in ServiceDesk, CAB meetings will review Change Requests in both systems.

What’s next?  Training on the Incident module for Network and System Services and Support Center staff will begin on Monday, April 10th.  Incidents submitted to Network and System Services will be live in ServiceNow the week of April 17th.
