The new version of MAC OS X, 10.10 (Yosemite) is expected to be released today, Thursday October 16th, and is currently incompatible with the ClearPass registration system and potentially other services at Rowan.

Information Resources & Technology is excited to introduce students, staff and faculty to our new service management platform, which includes a new, user-friendly support portal.

When you need assistance with technology issues, please visit support.rowan.edu to access the support portal and submit a request for help. You may also email support@rowan.edu or call 856-256-4400 for assistance. 

Portal Highlights

The new portal at support.rowan.edu will look different to users than it did before, but includes many improvements and new features:

  • Starting a support ticket is simpleYou can click “Get Help” to report an issue or ask a question using quick and easy forms.
  • Ticket status is easily available. You can also get easy access to your open incidents and requests, with more information about the status and a direct way to provide additional information to the support team working to resolve your issue.
  • Searching is easy. Searching is your starting point in the support portal. The “How Can We Help You?” search function gives you quick links to information about IRT services and solutions to common technical problems. 
  • Knowledge is at your fingertips. The support portal’s knowledge base contains self-help articles that may provide the solution to your issue. The portal will be regularly updated with new information.

Throughout the coming year, we will be adding more services to the portal and increasing the inventory of self-help knowledge articles. Our goal is that the portal will become the single online destination you visit for help, support and solutions for all of the technology services you need.  For more information about accessing the support portal, visit www.rowan.edu/servicenow.
