Got confidential Rowan data in the cloud? Read this

Rowan University has reached agreements to securely store and share confidential data, including patient health information and protected research data, in Google Drive and OneDrive. 

You may not store confidential data in any other third-party cloud storage services, including Box and DropBox, per our Acceptable Use Policy. Examples of confidential data include but are not limited to:

  • Login credentials (usernames and passwords)
  • Credit/debit card numbers
  • Driver's license numbers 
  • Passport numbers 
  • Patient health information
  • Protected research data
  • Social Security numbers 
  • Student disciplinary or judicial action information
