Get ready to connect to Rowan WiFi!

We know WiFi is essential, so take these three steps now to make sure you can quickly connect your computer when you arrive on campus for the start of the fall 2019 semester at Rowan University:

  1. Equip your computer with anti-virus softwareWe recommend Windows Security/Defender for Windows computers and Avast for Macs.
  2. Check for updates. If you have a Windows computer, make sure you have automatic updates enabled. If you have a Mac computer, run Software Update.
  3. Install ClearPass OnGuard. ClearPass OnGuard is the gatekeeper for RowanSecure, the University’s preferred wireless network. Download the automatic ClearPass installer for Windows or Mac. Once you’ve installed ClearPass, it will show a status of “Unknown,” which is normal while you are off campus. For more information, see our article on preparing to connect from home
