New Poll Everywhere & Kaltura training starts next week

Information Resources & Technology is offering two new classes in Poll Everywhere and Kaltura next week.

Poll Everywhere is a web-based student/audience response system that allows faculty to get real-time feedback via text message, Twitter or a web page. Kaltura is an online video repository similar to YouTube.

Introduction to Poll Everywhere

1 p.m. to 3 p.m. on Monday, June 25

This class will go over the basics of using Poll Everywhere for classroom engagement, lectures, meetings, workshops and presentations, including how to use a device to respond to an activity or poll and how to create activities or polls.

Introduction to Kaltura

1 p.m. to 3 p.m. on Thursday, June 28

Discover ways to create videos and make learning more efficient and compelling in this training class. You will learn how to upload videos to Kaltura and use Kaltura along with Blackboard, as well as get tips for creating, capturing, editing and publishing videos from your office, home or classroom.
