On July 1, 2019, Information Resources & Technology will initiate the annual Blackboard course removal process for courses that are more than two years old from the system.
This process will allow Blackboard administrators to more effectively manage the speed and performance of Blackboard and contain increasing storage costs. More details about which courses will be removed this summer, as well as information about how you can back up a course, are available below
Please email blackboard@rowan.edu with any questions you may have after reviewing this information.
As of July 2, courses that are more than two years old will be permanently removed from the Blackboard system.
Once a course is deleted, the course is no longer accessible, and it is automatically removed from a user's course list. As part of this process, all files, materials, grades, assignments, quizzes, links and all other items associated with a course, including enrollments, are removed from Blackboard as well.
Courses listed in the chart below are slated for removal this summer. Please back up any courses you want to save by June 25.
