Employees must complete annual security awareness training

All Rowan University employees are required to complete annual security awareness training.

Security awareness training gives employees the information they need to identify the greatest cyber security threats faced by universities and colleges, including phishing emails that are designed to trick you into revealing sensitive university or personal data.

If you haven’t taken security awareness training in the last year, Information Resources & Technology will be reaching out to remind you to complete the required annual security awareness training. The short training video provides you with tips on how to protect yourself from common scams, and you will receive a certificate of completion when you finish the training. Keep an eye on your inbox for that training reminder.

However, you don’t have to wait for us to get started with your training! To take your annual training today, visit go.rowan.edu/securitytraining, enter your Rowan University email address and click Next.

Remember, cyber security is everyone’s responsibility. The next time you receive a suspicious email or text message, even if it appears to be from someone you know, think before you click.

If you have any questions, please contact the Technology Support Center at 856-256-4400, or log in to support.rowan.edu and click Get Help.
