As Information Resources & Technology responds to the University’s transition to working, teaching and learning remotely due to COVID-19, there are many changes to technology resources and services happening on a daily basis.
Here are the latest changes as of Monday, March 23. You can always find our most recent updates at
go.rowan.edu/remote, and we are regularly updating information on that page so please check back often.
Access virtual desktops via access.rowan.edu
Rowan University is now providing students and employees with several different types of Windows virtual desktop solutions for remote working and learning, all of which are available via
access.rowan.edu.
Rowan Network password expiration extended to 180 days
Rowan University employees and students will now need to update their Rowan Network passwords every 180 days, rather than every 120 days.
This change was scheduled to go into effect later this year based on updated federal guidance, but implementing it now will help accommodate employees who are remotely working on Rowan-owned computers.
Computer labs on all campuses closed
All computer labs on the Glassboro, Stratford and Camden campuses are now closed, per New Jersey Gov. Phil Murphy’s order.
Adobe Creative Suite available on personal devices
Adobe is providing temporary at-home access to Creative Cloud desktop applications for Rowan University students and employees.
