Ask Susan: Rowan’s new digital assistant provides answers 24/7!

It’s 2 a.m., and you want to know how to join a class waitlist. Now, you can ask Susan for help.

Susan, Rowan’s new digital assistant, is available 24/7 to answer your questions about technology, financial aid, billing, registration and student life at Rowan University. A chatbot powered by artificial intelligence, Susan can tell you when registration opens, how to get involved on campus and where you can download software.

Susan already has answers to hundreds of questions, and the more you ask Susan, the smarter the bot will become. If Susan can’t answer your question, the digital assistant will connect you to chat with a human who can help you during designated hours.

You can find Susan (named after the brown-eyed Susan flower that grew in orchards near campus in the University’s early years) on the websites of Information Resources & Technology, Financial Aid, RegistrarOrientation & Student Leadership Programs and Bursar

Look for the chat icon in the bottom right corner of Rowan websites to connect with Susan.
