Get access to software for teaching & learning

Whether you need to build an interactive presentation or compile a spreadsheet, you can access in-demand software through Rowan University’s Academic Virtual Desktop to help you get the job done.

Academic Virtual Desktop

The Academic Virtual Desktop gives you access to all of the programs you’d have in a standard computer lab on campus from your own device. In the Academic Virtual Desktop, you’ll find specialized applications, such as ArcGIS, Comsol, Mathematica and SPSS, as well as more common programs, like the Microsoft Office suite and Adobe Creative Cloud applications.

To access the Academic Virtual Desktop, make sure you have Citrix Workspace installed on your computer and then log in to access.rowan.edu with your Rowan Network username and password. Visit the IRT website for more information about the Academic Virtual Desktop

Other Resources

Visit our software page for programs you can download directly to your computer, including the full Microsoft Office suite.

If you have any questions, please contact the Technology Support Center at 856-256-4400, or submit a ticket in the Rowan Support Portal.
