Information Resources & Technology is planning to roll out Microsoft Office 365 to employees by the beginning of the next academic year.
With Microsoft Office 365, you will always have the latest versions of Office applications on your computer. You can also access Word, Excel, PowerPoint and the rest of the Office suite through an online portal.
If you teach older versions of Office applications, including Office 2016 and Office 2019, in one of your courses, please plan to use Microsoft Office 365 as of fall 2022. Our plan is to upgrade Office 2016 and Office 2019 to Microsoft Office 365 on all Rowan-managed computers, including lab computers, by the start of the fall 2022 semester.
We will be releasing more information about the roll out of Microsoft Office 365 in the coming months as we finalize our schedule. Please stay tuned for more details.
