Internet Explorer to be retired in June: Are you prepared?

Microsoft has announced its plan to retire Internet Explorer 11 on certain versions of Windows 10 as of June 15, 2022. Due to this change, Internet Explorer will no longer be supported on  Rowan-managed Windows workstations.

What do you need to do now?

If you currently use Internet Explorer, you should transition to another browser before June 15. Microsoft Edge and Google Chrome come standard on Rowan-managed Windows workstations and automatically receive security and feature updates.

You should also review course materials and websites for references to Internet Explorer and update those references, where necessary.

What else do you need to know?

If you access websites or applications dependent on Internet Explorer, you can use Microsoft Edge in Internet Explorer compatibility mode

Rowan Medicine employees will continue to log in to Centricity EMR and Centricity Business as they do today after Internet Explorer is retired.

Where can you get more information?
