What is this “You Have Messages in Quarantine" email?

Employees may receive an email from Microsoft with the subject line “You Have Messages in Quarantine” when messages have been flagged for security risks. This is a new security feature implemented as part of the upgrade to Microsoft 365 and Exchange Online in spring 2023. 

These emails from Microsoft are legitimate. By following the instructions in the email, you can review your quarantined messages and decide whether to release them or not.
