Rowan University will turn down our cable TV service as of July 1, 2024. This service has been underutilized as our campus community relies more on third-party streaming services and apps for entertainment and news.
By retiring Apogee’s Stream2 service, we can allocate resources more efficiently while meeting our community’s media consumption preferences.
If you are currently using Apogee’s Stream2 service to display cable TV in a waiting area or other location, you may set up an account with Comcast to gain access to TV services through Xfinity Stream. Here’s what you need to know if you want to pursue this option:
Free TV/Movie Options at Rowan
You can access thousands of movies through Campbell Library’s online databases at go.rowan.edu/watch. Discover box-office favorites, foreign films, documentaries, theater and more.
Other Free Streaming Options
We also encourage you to check with your local public library for free, streaming options. Many libraries, including Gloucester County Library, offer media streaming through Hoopla and Kanopy.
