Get Technology: A streamlined purchasing process arrives at Rowan soon

A new and improved technology purchasing process — called Get Technology — is arriving at Rowan University on Monday, July 8! 

Get Technology will make it easier and faster to acquire hardware, software and IT services on campus. Here’s a few of the key improvements you can expect:

  • One Form for All Requests: No more juggling between multiple forms for hardware, software, and IT services. We’ve combined them into one easy-to-use form that covers all your technology needs. 
  • Streamlined Review & Approval Process: We have redesigned our backend approval workflow to help expedite requests, so you can get the technology you need without undue delays. 
  • Auto-Populate Purchasing Form for Renewals: When you are submitting a software renewal request, you can look up your initial order and the form will automatically populate the data you previously entered, saving you time and effort.   

We’re making these changes in response to your feedback and to allow us to better serve the campus community. We’ll provide more detailed information, including step-by-step instructions, to help you navigate the new process following the launch on Monday, July 8.
