Information Resources & Technology will start upgrading Rowan-managed computers in conference rooms, classrooms and computer labs, as well as our virtual desktops in Citrix, to Windows 11 on Wednesday, May 28.
Please leave computers in those spaces powered on at the end of the workday, as we will be remotely upgrading to Windows 11 during the evening hours to minimize disruptions as much as possible. Computers may be upgraded during working hours if they are not powered on overnight.
Windows 11 offers features to help boost your productivity, optimize your screen space and secure your data. The upgrade is required as Microsoft will end support for Windows 10 this year.
