Spring 2019 student technology checklist: Are you prepared?

We’re just two weeks away from the start of the spring 2019 semester at Rowan University. If you haven’t already, now’s the time to get yourself digitally prepared. Please take the following steps to make sure you can easily connect to WiFi and other resources on campus.

  1. Get your Rowan accounts ready. Students receive two accounts to access most digital resources at Rowan: a Network account and a Banner account. Visit id.rowan.edu to look up or update your credentials for those accounts.
  2. Enroll in Duo. All students will be required to register for Duo two-factor authentication during the spring semester. Don’t wait … enroll today. Visit duo.rowan.edu to register.
  3. Check your Rowan University email. Log in to your Rowan Gmail account at mail.students.rowan.edu to review important announcements.
  4. Prepare to connect to WiFi. In order to connect a computer to the Rowan Network, you’ll need to install anti-virus software and the ClearPass OnGuard agent, as well as turn on automatic updates. Visit go.rowan.edu/connect for more information.
