Glassboro classroom tech upgrades: What you need to know

Information Resources & Technology has been working over the summer to improve the teaching and learning experience in Glassboro classrooms with new and improved technology.

Here are the changes we’ve made during summer 2025 you need to know about:

  • Classroom upgrades in Robinson & James halls: We've overhauled the technology in the following classrooms this summer:
    • Robinson 101A, 101B, 102, 121, 201A, 201B, 205, 207, 210, 212, 224, 226, 308, 310, 311, 312, 323, 324 & 325
    • James 2094, 2095, 2096, 2097, 2098, 2099, 2100, 2101 & 2102.
  • One HDMI cable is all you need: We’ve phased out all technology requiring VGA and 1/8" auxiliary ports. So, no matter where you’re teaching in Glassboro, you’ll only need an HDMI cable to transfer audio and video, giving you full control with a single connection.
  • Mac display issue resolved: Our summer upgrades also resolved the issue that was preventing some Mac laptops from displaying properly on certain projectors in classrooms and other spaces. You can now expect a smooth, consistent performance across all devices.
