Office of the CIO
Communications
Leads communications and content strategy, oversees marketing of IRT services and tools and manages website and Knowledge Base content.
Fiscal Affairs
Oversees budgeting, purchasing and financial operations.
Information Security Office
Sets standards and policies to protect the University’s confidential, sensitive and personal information, identifies and addresses security risks, manages security incidents and trains students, staff and faculty on security practices.
Project Management Office
Manages Rowan's active technology project portfolio and feasibility study requests, ensuring both technology and business requests are implemented using consistent processes, methodologies and project management tools.
Technology Negotiations Management
Reviews and negotiates all technology contracts, including licensing agreements, order forms, professional services agreements, statements of work, master services agreements, and similar contracts.
Asset & Technology Services
Asset Management
Oversees the full lifecycle of university-owned technology, including receiving, configuring and deploying computers and IT assets across all Rowan campuses, tracking assets and preparing returned technology for recycling.

Provides in-person and specialized remote technical support for end users, classrooms and computer labs across all campuses:

Digital Business Solutions
Operations & Architecture
Delivering innovative digital business solutions that support Rowan University’s Student Information System (SIS) and enterprise applications through system integration, process improvement, and the implementation of new digital technologies to drive institutional advancement. The team also stewards access and permissions to the SIS, ensuring secure and appropriate data access.
Reporting
Develops and maintains operational reporting and analytics solutions to support business operations, primarily in Cognos.
Infrastructure Services
Desktop & Device Management
Oversees the configuration, security and management of university-owned endpoints, printers, digital signs, virtual desktops and enterprise endpoint applications.
Enterprise System Administration
Maintains and administers Rowan’s core enterprise systems, ensuring their stability, security and scalability.
Network & Security Operations
Monitors and manages Rowan’s network and security infrastructure to ensure continuous availability, performance and protection.
Software Development
Applications & Integrations
Implements and supports enterprise software solutions and integrations that enhance university services and improve user experience.
Artificial Intelligence (AI)
Identifies, creates, supports and maintains AI services and tools across the university.
Custom Development
Designs and develops custom applications to meet specialized institutional needs.
DevOps
Supports continuous integration and deployment of software solutions, bridging development and operations to improve reliability, speed and scalability of services.
Enterprise Application Administration
Administers and maintains Rowan’s enterprise applications, ensuring reliable access, performance and functionality.
Software Architecture
Oversees technical design and solution architecture across all custom applications, data integrations, forward-looking technologies and Proofs of Concept (PoCs).
Standards & Acquisitions
Learning Technologies
Designs and implements classroom technology standards and provides multimedia production support for teaching, learning and research.
Technology Acquisition
Reviews the procurement of technology hardware and software across the university to ensure acquisitions align with institutional standards, security requirements and budget priorities.
Support & Training
Technology Support Center
Provides critical first level support for all faculty, staff and students on all campuses via phone, email and live chat.
Training & Instructional Support
Develops custom training to support technology adoption across the university.
Campbell Library
Access Services
Manages Campbell building operations and ensures equitable access to library collections and services by providing circulation, required reading collection, interlibrary loan, virtual help, and welcome desk support for the Glassboro campus.
Collection Services
Acquires and assesses scholarly collections in all formats, which support the university’s academic and research mission, and manages collection budgets for all Rowan University Libraries.
Discovery Services
Manages access to electronic/print journals, ebooks, databases, and streaming media, as well as interfaces for discovery across all Rowan University Libraries.
Teaching & Learning
Supports students with success in coursework and independent research, and collaborates with faculty on curricular integration of library resources for the Glassboro campus.
Technology Services
Supports, maintains, and integrates all Rowan University Libraries technologies with each other and with central IRT technologies, and manages metadata services in support of all campuses.
University Archives & Special Collections
Preserves and provides access to materials that document the history of Rowan University and the surrounding region, supporting research and institutional memory.
