What Do I Get?
This service provides access to an online portal for faculty and staff to purchase standard and non-standard hardware and software, as well as other IT needs.
Why Do I Want It?
Rowan University faculty and staff have a variety of technology needs and may need to purchase hardware and software. Requests submitted in the online portal are automatically routed through the appropriate approval processes, which ensure the equipment or service is compatible with existing technology and meets security requirements and regulations.

This service is available to faculty and staff.
How Do I Request It?
All hardware and software orders may be placed through the service catalog in the IRT Support Portal. To order hardware, visit go.rowan.edu/GetHardware. To order software, visit go.rowan.edu/GetSoftware.
To request services from external vendors or other IT needs, visit go.rowan.edu/GetServices. Other IT needs include:
- Display/TV requests from Total Video Products
- Security camera and door control requests from Dynamic Security
- Network cabling for Kane Communications
- External training for employees
- Other services provided by external vendors

How Can I Access It?
Depending on the type of technology or software purchased, Information Resources & Technology will schedule a time for delivery once the order has been approved and cleared the University’s procurement process, or you will work directly with a vendor or contractor to arrange delivery.
How Do I Get Help With It After I Have It?
Information Resources & Technology provides limited support for non-standard hardware and software.
If you have any questions, please contact the Technology Support Center at 856-256-4400. You can also submit your question in the IRT Support Portal.
Order Hardware
All hardware orders may now be placed through the service catalog in the IRT Support Portal.
If you don’t see an item you want, select the "Don't see what you're looking for?" option in "Other Hardware" and enter the requested information.
Order Software
All software orders may now be placed through the service catalog in the IRT Support Portal.
After logging in to the IRT Support Portal, select the "Order Software" option in "Software & Applications" and enter the requested information
Request Services
Services that aren't hardware or software may be requested through our consultation request form.
This form should be used to request services from external vendors, such as display/TV requests from Total Video Products and training for staff.
