This service gives faculty and staff the ability to requestIT accessories, standard and non-standard hardware and software, as well as other IT needs.
Why Do I Want It?
Rowan University faculty and staff have a variety of technology needs and may need to purchase hardware and software.

How Do I Request It?
IT Accessories
Through ProConnect, you can order standard IT accessories, including keyboard, mice, chargers, cables and monitors, directly from SHI, GovConnection and CDW-G and have those items shipped directly to you.
Laptops & Other Standard Hardware
Visit the service catalog in the Rowan Support Portal to request standard IT hardware, including laptops and hard drives, available for purchase outside of the university’s Essential Device Program.
Non-Standard Hardware, Software & IT Services
Tips to Expedite New Requests
• Notify your supervisor after submitting a request. Your supervisor must approve your request before it's reviewed by IRT.
• Fill out the Get Technology form with as much detail as possible, including a direct link to the vendor page, and the quote, proposal or invoice for the software, service or non-standard hardware you want to acquire.
Requests for non-standard hardware, software and IT services are placed through the Get Technology form in the Rowan Support Portal.
Get Technology form requests are reviewed by a dedicated team to ensure the technology meets Rowan’s security, compliance, technical and support requirements. Most requests can be completed within a few business days.
Please note that:
- Get Technology approvals are valid for one year and must be renewed annually.
- All software, whether free or paid, must be reviewed.
- You can now add multiple items to a request. Simply add all items to your cart before checking out. If you have different items on one proposal, invoice or quote, each item must be added separately to your cart.

How Can I Access It?
Depending on the type of technology or software purchased, we will schedule a time for delivery once the order has been approved and cleared the University’s procurement process, or you will work directly with a vendor or contractor to arrange delivery.
How Do I Get Help With It After I Have It?
We provide limited support for non-standard hardware and software.
If you have any questions, please contact the Technology Support Center at 856-256-4400. You can also submit your question in the Rowan Support Portal.
The Technology Support Center aims to address all support requests within one business day. If the Technology Support Center cannot resolve your issue, it may take up to two more business days to receive a response to your support request for this service.
