Phasing Out Duo Text Message Codes
To update your Rowan NetID password on or after Wednesday, January 7, 2026, you must have the Duo Mobile app or a hardware token registered on your account. You will no longer be able to receive Duo codes via text message.

This service provides a Rowan NetID to Rowan University faculty, staff, students and affiliates. Your Rowan NetID is your primary login for digital services at Rowan University.
Rowan University uses Duo two-factor authentication to help protect your Rowan NetID.

Your Rowan NetID is your key to accessing online Rowan University services. With your Rowan NetID, you can log in to Canvas, RowanWiFi, Self-Service Banner, Google Drive, your Rowan email and Rowan-managed computers in computer labs and elsewhere.

How Do I Request It?
Rowan NetIDs are automatically created for faculty, staff and students.
Sponsors must request access for affiliates who require a Rowan NetID through go.rowan.edu/affiliate.
How Can I Access It?
New Students
