Rowan-managed PCs have OneDrive for Windows pre-installed. Rowan-managed Macs may install OneDrive for Mac from Self Service.

Google Drive for desktop allows you to quickly access all of your Google Drive files on demand, directly from your computer.

Home Directory (H: Drive)

Request More Home Directory Space

Fill out our online form to request more space in your home directory. 

Your home directory is a private folder with up to 2GB of default storage stored on university servers and only available to you. You can access your home directory from on-campus or remotely. 

Openarea (O: Drive)

The openarea contains shared folders stored on university servers that you can access from on-campus or remotely.

Removable Media

If you need to store data classified as confidential, you must use a hardware-encrypted Datalocker drive available from IRT. Otherwise, you can order any commercially-available removable media storage through the Get Technology process.

Removable media is permitted on Rowan-managed workstations by default, but access is blocked after six months of inactivity. You may request access again by completing the form below.

Citrix Virtual Desktops & Applications

Virtual desktops provide access to a Windows 11 desktop experience that can be accessed from any computer by anyone. There are several types of virtual desktops available, as well as virtual applications available in Citrix outside of the desktops.

We use Palo Alto GlobalProtect to provide you with reliable and secure access to restricted resources through the Rowan VPN when you are off campus.
