Openarea & Home Directory

Employees and students may access shared folders hosted on a University server called the Openarea. Every employee and student also has access to a personal folder called a home directory, or H drive, stored on a University server.

These files are backed up nightly to prevent you from losing important documents and data.

Personal Website

The home directory for all employees and students contain a "public.www" folder, which may be used to create a personal website that can be accessed at http://users.rowan.edu/~yourusername.

Using any web editor, you can create an index.html page and save it to the "public.www" folder to create your website's homepage.
