What Do I Get?  

This service provides an in-person visit to a classroom, lab or office by an IRT technician who is trained in Rowan University network and information systems to troubleshoot issues that cannot be resolved over the phone or brought to one of the Technology Assistance Centers located on each campus.

Why Do I Want It? 

IRT technicians have specialized access to tools for managing Rowan-owned devices, audio-visual equipment and access to services.

The service is available to faculty and staff.

Urgent Classroom & Lab Support

For emergency classroom and lab support on the Glassboro campus, please call 856-256-5552. The classroom technician will respond within 15 minutes for emergency classroom issues.

For all other classroom and lab issues, please call 856-256-4400 and select the appropriate option:

  • Online Classes: Press 1
  • Blackboard: Press 2

  • SOM: Press 6

How Can I Access It?  

For non-urgent issues, a technician will schedule a time, if necessary, to visit the location to troubleshoot the problem. For urgent issues, a technician will visit the affected location as soon as possible. 

How Do I Get Help With It After I Have It?

If you have any questions after your technical issue has been resolved, please contact the Technology Support Center at 856-256-4400. You can also submit your question in the IRT Support Portal.
