What Do I Get?  

This service provides access to Ask Susan, a chatbot that leverages artificial intelligence, on Rowan University websites.


Why Do I Want It? 

Susan (named after the brown-eyed Susan flower that grew in orchards near campus in the University’s early years) uses artificial intelligence to answer questions about life at Rowan University. 

Departments and offices can supplement their customer service and support teams with Susan, which is available 24/7 online to manage student and employee inquiries. You can also opt to enable a live chat feature during designated hours so Susan can route questions to your team if it is unable to answer.

 

Who Can Get It?

Faculty and staff may request to add and manage Susan on official Rowan University websites.  

The public may access Susan from any Rowan University website.

 

How Do I Request It?

Submit a ticket in the Rowan Support Portal to request Susan for a Rowan University website. 

 

How Can I Access It?  

Faculty and staff who help manage Susan will receive a link to the back-end system where they can review questions submitted to Susan, edit answers and add additional information. 

The public may access Susan from Rowan University websites by selecting the chat icon in the bottom right-hand corner.


How Do I Get Help With It After I Have It?

If you have any questions, please contact the Technology Support Center at 856-256-4400. You can also submit your question in the Rowan Support Portal.

The Technology Support Center aims to address all support requests within one business day. If the Technology Support Center cannot resolve your issue, it will take up to one more business day to receive a response to your support request for this service.
