Project Summary
In order to provide students, faculty and staff with a better experience while using Banner, we are in the process of performing a major system upgrade. The upgrade from version 8 to version 9 will offer a more user-friendly experience and modern features.
To make the transition to this new version of Banner as smooth as possible, we will be implementing the upgrade to the system in phases. See below for more information about what we've completed so far and what you can expect in the coming months, as well as answers to frequently asked questions and training resources.

Why are we upgrading Banner?
Banner is one of the most important systems at Rowan University. It is the University's system of record, and it is used by thousands of people every day to schedule classes, submit time sheets and carry out a variety of other academic and administrative tasks.
Ellucian, the company that supports Banner, is planning to end support for the current version of Banner in the near future. To ensure all of the University's Banner processes continue to run smoothly, we need to complete the upgrade from version 8 to version 9 of Banner.
When are we upgrading Banner?
We've already started the upgrade to Banner 9. See below for information about what you can expect in the coming months.
