In addition to our day-to-day network, security and data responsibilities, our team oversees large-scale technology projects throughout Rowan University. 

Below you will find an overview of some of our current projects.

Fighting Ransomware

Recent cyberattacks demonstrate the threat of ransomware to private companies, government organizations and universities and colleges. But the impact of ransomware can also be much more personal in nature, such as losing an archive of family photos.

To help protect you, your department and your university, Information Resources & Technology is leading multiple projects to fortify our network against ransomware, and we need your help in this fight.

Banner Upgrade 

In order to offer the University the latest tools and maintain technical support for Banner from outside vendors, we are upgrading to the latest version of Banner. This upgrade is being implemented in multiple phases.
