In addition to our day-to-day network, security and data responsibilities, our team oversees large-scale technology projects throughout the University. 

Below you will find an overview of some of our current projects.

Banner Upgrade 

In order to offer the University the latest tools and maintain technical support for Banner from outside vendors, we are upgrading to the latest version of Banner. This upgrade is being implemented in multiple phases.

Blackboard to Canvas Transition

Rowan University is transitioning its learning management system from Blackboard to Canvas in 2020 to streamline course delivery for faculty and provide a seamless experience for students across all schools and colleges. 

Voicemail Transition

Information Resources & Technology is migrating Rowan University’s voicemail system to a new platform that fully integrates with current phone services. This new system is being rolled out in phases to Rowan University.
